Let me say this right off the bat: you don’t need a woman. A man can live perfectly fine on his own and choose to spend time with whoever he likes — be it his friends, fuck buddies, girlfriends, or pets. A man doesn’t need anyone, but he often wants someone, whether for sexual or emotional reasons.

However, these interests don’t go hand in hand. You, as a man, are a visual creature, with the innate talent to gaslight yourself into thinking that a woman is worth it because her rack-to-waist ratio makes your dick harder than rock. It makes you ignore the crippling anxiety you feel around her — how you constantly have to walk on eggshells because you don’t know which of your actions will make her blow her fuse again.

She distracts you from work, isolates you from family and friends, and makes you wonder why you two are even together when she thinks you’re Satan incarnate. Her reasons are simple: you probably still pay for everything and give in to her the second she throws a tantrum; girls love having a doormat. But you staying with her? That’s because of abandonment issues and low self-worth.
