’s Final Exam: Navigating the Sexual Marketplace. I had been wondering about the age at which both genders peak. I was of the opinion that women peak earlier and that men, due to the current economic situation, peak later in life. Aaron is famous for stating, “Do not even try until you’re 35, because you won’t be taken seriously.” He also agreed with me that men indeed peak later than they used to — economically speaking, at least, but I think there are other factors involved. On the topic of women’s peak he disagreed with me, and I have to concede that both he and Rollo were right. Rollo is very clear that the biological peak for women occurs at 23, and it’s downhill from there. Women indeed still peak between 21 and 23. What I “disagree” with, or rather think can be adjusted for current times and beyond, is his placement of the epiphany phase. This was not discussed in Final Exam but in Preventive Medicine Part II: The Epiphany Phase; after all, the wall is mental, not physical.
